This is why we are dedicated to our quality manufacturing process to bring you a durable and reliable product. S.M.R.T. Tent provides a limited 24-month manufacturer's warranty for S.M.R.T. Tent products which covers defects in material and manufacturing. This is followed by a 24-month extended warranty, please read below for policy details.

2-Year Warranty

The initial 2-year warranty begins on the original date of purchase on tents and accessories, and is defined by the following criteria:

  • Merchandise must have been purchased directly from SMRT Tent. This warranty is not transferable through any other transaction. This warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to subsequent owners or purchasers of the product.
  • Coverage extends exclusively to component failure resulting from faulty manufacturing. SMRT Tent cannot protect against damage incurred by acts of nature, accident, tampering, misuse, overloading, cosmetic blemishing, loss or theft of items, or improper cleaning or storage, etcetera.
  • Warranty does not cover any shipping damage - please read our instructions for receiving your tent to ensure there are no shipping damages. 
  • SMRT Tent does not warranty issues generated by normal wear and tear, (including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, tears, and cosmetic oxidation or fading), inappropriate use of vehicle and alterations not authorized by SMRT Tent.
  • A reasonable amount of proof must be supplied to validate the claim.
  • SMRT Tent can either repair or replace the unit in question at their discretion.
  • In rare cases, SMRT Tent may elect to refund the original purchase price, not including the cost of shipping and handling, instead of rendering repair or replacement services. If the customer prefers, SMRT Tent can also offer store credit as an alternative.
  • If the product is to be returned to SMRT Tent for service, the owner of the product assumes the cost and liability of the return freighting. Return shipment damage is the unfortunate responsibility of the consignor.
  • Products not SMRT Tent branded are warrantied by their respective manufacturer.
  • Any direct or indirect damage caused by actions outside the specifications stated above and in SMRT Tent's Gear Guidelines is not covered by this warranty.

Extended Warranty Policy

SMRT Tent provides a 24-month extended manufacturer’s warranty for SMRT Tent products offering cost on replacement parts for defects in material and manufacturing. This extended warranty begins immediately following the end of the 2-year limited warranty on tents and accessories, and is defined by the following parameters:

  • Merchandise must have been purchased directly from SMRT Tent. This warranty is not transferable through any other transaction. This warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to subsequent owners or purchasers of the product.
  • Coverage extends exclusively to component failure resulting from faulty manufacturing. SMRT Tent cannot protect against damage incurred by acts of nature, accident, tampering, misuse, overloading, cosmetic blemishing, or improper cleaning or storage, etcetera.
  • SMRT Tent does not warranty issues generated by normal wear and tear, (including, but not limited to, scratches, dents or punctures, tears, burns and cosmetic oxidation or fading), loss or theft of items, inappropriate use of vehicle and alterations not authorized by SMRT Tent.
